Root Canal Consultation

A root canal consultation is a thorough evaluation used to determine whether a root canal is necessary. During the consultation, a CBCT scan and digital x-rays are obtained to assess the tooth’s pulp and surrounding bone in three dimensions. The endodontist then reviews the patient’s symptoms, followed by a detailed examination of the affected tooth. Based on these findings, the patient receives a clear diagnosis, along with an explanation of available treatment options and the recommended next steps.
